Our Aims
MarketForce! is conceived as a marketing tool with
maximised flexibility:
- to analyse databases, providing useful marketing feedback based on existing customer, sales and campaign records.
- to produce:
- targeted mailing lists
- mail merge source files
from subsets of archived and current data.
- to be 'plugged in' to existing data.
- to import data from more complex sources for analysis and list production as above.
Functions And Tools
MarketForce! :
- imports existing data to a customised Access database. De-duping of customer records can take place as the import process is running.
- allows the user to configure queries dynamically.
- can select customers by residential location (post code, region, country), and by number, value and timeframe of purchases.
- can analyse sales by single product, by customised ranges of products or by pre-configured product types. Customer payment modes can also be analysed if a relevant data field is available.
- can track campaign effectiveness, comparing post-promotion sales data with campaign participation information.
- can evaluate customer take-up from different advertising media and other promotional strategies.
- produces reports using Microsoft Excel. It can also be customised on request to export data for reporting in other packages, for example: Crystal Reports and ActiveReports.
The MarketForce! Environment
MarketForce! :
- is Windows-based.
- is designed in the first instance to work with Microsoft database environments (Access and SQL Server).
- uses ODBC drivers to retrieve and process data stored in most other commonly used database systems and data formats, e.g. dBase, FoxPro, Paradox, Access, Oracle, SQL Server and XML.
